Guru is the strongest among the benefics and represent god’s blessings. It gives good results pertaining to all the Bhavas it occupies. However, when it occupies a Dusthana, it has a potential to suffer with regards to its own significations. To remove that blemish, it should be aspected by another benefic or be under shubha yogas such as Shubha-Kartari yoga etc. Also, when Guru is strong due to its Rasi placement, the blemish of its Dusthana placement is considerably removed. Guru occupying a Kendra or Trikona in Sva, Uccha Rasi (or Mitra Rasi) is a great blessing in a horoscope and it protects the native from many dangers in life.

Randhra (8H): Long-life, king, learned, destroy enemies.
Dharma (9H): Enjoy all kinds of happiness, learned, splendorous, virtuous, wealthy.
Karma (10H): Wide fame, good acts, very wealthy.
Labha (11H): Gains from various sources, head of a treasury, principal member of his clan, well-versed in Shastras.
Vyaya (12H): Defective-limbed, spend money in charity and dances (entertainment).
